Once popular film actress Sonia is going to settle down in London. For the last seven years she has been staying there with her husband. She is now known as ‘Hashi to the local residents in London. According to a source from Sonia informed this correspondent that Sonia has been living in London with her husband and also passing happy life there. She will never return to the country’s film arena. She is now a mother of three children.
Sonia lastly performed in movie ‘Shwashurbari Jainabad,’ directed by Debates Biwa's. She has a dream to involve in legal profession. But unfortunately her dream didn’t come true. In her childhood, she taught dance in BAFA. From there she started to perform in various programmers in Bangladesh Television (BTV). She got offer to perform in the movie when she was studying in Class X. Sonia debuted her career in this arena by performing in the movie Mastan Raza’ where she performed in role of Shabana young age. She worked as models in Afzal Hossain and Saidul Anam Tutul TVCs in 1992. Then she performed in movie ‘Prem Shokti,’ directed by Razzak, against Bapparaz.Sonia has performed in about 50 movies and many dramas later. Prem Protishodh, Shoto Monomer Prem, Poran Kokila, Love Letter’ and others are mentionable movies of Sonia.
