At least 70 school boys were die as a truck plunged into a roadside ditch in Mirsarai upazila of Chittagong on Monday. Police said a bus carrying 70/80 school students plunged into a watery ditch when its driver lost control over the steering on Abeu Torah bazaar road at about 2.16 pm.The students were returning after participle paring a football tournament.Officer-in-Charge of Mirersharai than said the death toll may rise as many bodies could not be recovered yet from the sunken bus. Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Faye z Ahmed said the local upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) informed him that they were sending the bodies of 10 students to a hospital.
