Popular film actress Ratna was debuted in the film industry by acting in a film titled ‘Keno Bhalobaslam, which was directed by Selim Azam in 2003 when she was a student of Class VIII. Since then, Ratna continued her study seriously along with acting. Very recently, she has completed her graduation in Social Work from Jagannath University. Ratna is now doing master in Social Welfare and Research Institute of Dhaka University. Ratna is attending her classes regularly and her teachers are also happy over her attention to study. When contacted, director of the Institute Prof Dr Mohammad Sam ad said, I have heard that Ratna took admission in our institute and she is attending the classes regularly. It’s a very good sign that a professional film artiste is also serious about her study and she will definitely do better. While talking about her future plan, Ratna said, besides acting in the movie, I want to continue my study. I am very much determined tube a Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) cadre and that’s why I am taking adequate preparation to appear in the next BCS examination.Ratna acted movie ‘Angka’ which was directed by Shahin Sumonwill be released on the occasion of Edi-UL-Fitr. Besides this, Ratna is now acting in ‘Jog yo Stanton’ by Shahin Sumon, ‘Elk Dui Tin’ by Kamal Mahmud, ‘Amaranth Lorain’ by Shahin A froze and ‘Bordello Ker Chile Gerber Meyer’ by KomolSarkar.
